Salmon in the Classroom (Michigan) is an educational program offering opportunity for schools and classrooms to raise salmon - from eggs to smolt - then release them in the spring. This project is supported classroom activities on relevant topics correlated with your curriculum, SIC can be a part of any 3rd-12th grade classroom. This program offers a variety of educational resources, activities, and support for educators interested in bringing Great Lakes salmon into their classroom as an engaging educational learning opportunity for students.
