The Fishtown Welcome Center includes historical, current and commercial fishing interpretive exhibits—and a gift shop. All proceeds from the gift shop help preserve Fishtown. Fishtown is maintained and preserved by Fishtown Preservation Society, a not-for-profit organization—dependent on public support to keep Fishtown publicly accessible.
