Sturgeon For Tomorrow hosts the annual Black Lake Sturgeon Shivaree during the first week(s) of February each year. The Shivaree will coincide with the opening of the Black Lake Sturgeon season.  Updated event details and dates for this annual event are available on the Sturgeon for Tomorrow event webpage.

Activities for the Shivaree are held in the entertainment tent on Black Lake in front of the former Black Lake Hotel. 

Proceeds from the Shivaree fund lake sturgeon hatchery, research, habitat conservation, and outreach programs.
