Generations of Ruleau's have worked as commercial fishermen in northern Lake Michigan. Today Robert Ruleau, his cousins and nephews fish, process and sell fresh, frozen and smoked fish and fish pate` for the wholesale market.  They operate the only licensed fish trawler on the Great Lakes and trap net boats.
