Located in the historic South Haven Light Keeper's House, the Marialyce Canonie Great Lakes Research Library is the only library in the state to share information on the entire scope of Michigan's maritime history. The collection includes books, historic photos, audio-visual materials, nautical charts and periodicals. There is a vast collection of commercial fishing related resources including historic photos and documents, oral histories, periodicals, etc. It is located in downtown South Haven and associated with the Michigan Maritime Museum. The library is open by appointment only. Please contact the Michigan Maritime Museum for further information.
