Located in the small fishing village of Gill's Rock, WI,  the newly re-named Death's Door Maritime Museum tells the story of the  rich commercial fishing heritage of Door County, WI. The museum's exhibits include the wooden fish tug Hope,  a replica net shed with net reels, and other fishing tools and materials. A recent addition is the newly restored 1917 Kahlenberg engine. Visitors can walk on board the Hope which was built in 1930 by Sturgeon Bay Boatworks for the Stanley Voight family. A video of the tug’s final fishing trip in 1992 is also part of the exhibit. To learn more visit their web site!
