The Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center offers a unique opportunity  to learn about the natural history and cultural history of Lake Superior and its people. The "Celebrate the History and Heritage of Lake Superior" exhibit provides a unique interactive  overview of human cultures interacting with the land and natural resources of the Northern Great Lakes region, from the Ice Age to the present. The Center is also home to the  Wisconsin Historical Society's northern field office including the Center's History Center and Archives. Visit the website for additional information.
