Year-round the classic 1937 fish tug Aloha stands along a viewing deck that allows visitors to look inside. The deck and boat stand on the shore of Lake Michigan’s Manitou Passage where boats similar to Aloha fished around the mainland and islands for Whitefish, Lake trout and chub. Nearby exhibits in the Cannery Museum display additional commercial fishing gear. Both sites are part of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
